Welcome to the 2021 Season!
The Northern Virginia Swimming League is planning for a normal dive season, including a full schedule of meets. We are so excited to get started again!
We are still working on the full schedule, but we do have some dates to keep in mind as you plan out your summer.
Evening practices begin on May 24. Morning practices begin June 21.
The Tuesday night A meets start on June 22 and run through July 20. Divisionals will be July 25 and All Stars is August 1. The full schedule details can be found in the calendar area of this website.
We can't wait to see everyone at the pool!
Welcome to Dominion Hills Diving!
The Dominion Hills Dive Team helps athletes gain strength and confidence in a safe environment while having fun along the way. They will develop many skills as they move on to more advanced dives. Diving offers a unique mix of individual and team accomplishments.
The dive team accepts divers from age 7 to 18. The minimum requirement is to have already passed the swim test and be able to jump off the board.
In addition to the practices and meets, there will be a Season Kick-Off Party, a Lip Sync Contest, Friday Breakfasts, Pep Rallies, and an Awards Banquet.
We know many divers have been working hard in the winter and it will be great to have all the Warriors back in the same pool again! We are also excited for everyone to see our new record board at the pool.
Per Northern Virginia Swimming Leage rules, you must be a member (or rental) of the Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association (or another pool with an NVSL swim team without diving) to join the Dominion Hills dive team. For information on DHARA membership, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. For information on other NVSL pools in the area, see dive.mynvsl.com.
Let's go Warriors!
Our dive program is not possible without volunteers so please check out volunteer opportunities by clicking the Volunteer Opportunities tab at the top of the homepage. Also consider going to a NVSL volunteer clinic. Attending a clinic is a great way to learn more about how to be a meet judge, table worker and/or referee. Even if you are not interested in judging a meet, the Judges Clinics are a super way to lean more about the sport of diving!
